April is Adult Learn-to-Swim Month, so the Bozeman Masters Swim Club and the Swimming Saves Lives Foundation are offering swimming lessons for Bozeman-area adults.

Whether you’re fearful of the water and never learned to swim when you were younger or you simply want to improve your stroke, we will help you succeed.

This class consists of four 60-minute lessons on Sundays in March and April.

Participants who complete the program should be able to complete the five Red Cross basic water competencies:
a) Step or jump into the water over your head;
b) Return to the surface and float or tread water for one minute;
c) Turn around in a full circle and find an exit;
d) Swim 25 yards to the exit;
e) Exit from the pool without using the ladder

Advance registration is requested so that we can plan for the appropriate number of instructors.
